A Big Howdy to all that visit my site:

After adopting Oscar at 2.5 months old and raising him along with my other rescue Sam (and Charlie, Smokey and Sunny), I was ecstatic to have my first ride go so smoothly (I've only been on his back once before, but had many years of playing with him on the ground and ground-driving him, taking him for walks in the park, packing with him in the back-country). Oscar just turned 3 and stands 16.3hh...he's incredibly athletic and is extremely "light" for his massive size...

...but he was tuckered out in about 15 minutes.....

Last August, Sam, Oscar and I took a short trek over Kearsarge Pass in the Eastern Sierras to drop supplies to a family of backpackers that were on a 5 week trip along the Pacific Crest Trail. The adventure was amazing, glorious and terrifying at times.

Stay tuned....new paintings are on the way

My Circle Seven ranch project is slowly coming to fruition right before my eyes... having lived in a tipi and cowboy tent for the last 2.5yrs without power or amenities of any kind in order to keep my horses together and allow them to roam on many acres has led me to the idea of building an "old west" town, a place where I can hold day events for grade school kids in order to teach them about horses, art and life in the old west (with a modern twist, of course)... stay tuned for progress pictures...

Happy Trails,
Leslie Anne Webb
