Friends for Life - "Good Friends last a lifetime."
Smokey and Sunny are my two ex-racehorses, both of which suffered broken limbs on the racetrack and were rescued by United Pegasus Foundation. I adopted Sunny first, and within the first two weeks of bringing him home, I noticed he was not his chipper self. When I called UPF to ask if he’d had a buddy at the ranch, they told me about Smokey, his best friend. When I brought Smokey home, they were both ecstatic to be reunited and have been happily together ever since.
